Before proceeding, ensure the correct Sawgrass printer driver and Sawgrass Print Manager has been installed.
The following instructions explain how to configure Adobe Photoshop CS/CC on a computer using MacOS. Your screens and menus may differ depending on the version of software and operating system being used. However, the settings will be identical.
Photoshop Color Setup
- Open Adobe Photoshop. In the menu bar, click Edit > Color Settings.
- In the Color Settings window, If Sawgrass_sRGB is not in the list of presets, set the settings as shown below, and click Save..
Working Space
- RGB: Adobe RGB (1998)
- CMYK: U.S Web Coated (SWOP) v2
- Gray:Dot Gain 20%
- Spot: Gain 20%
Conversion Options
- Engine: Adobe (ACE)
- Intent: Perceptual
Color Management Policies
- RBG: Convert to working RGB
- CMYK: Preserve Embedded profiles
- Gray: Preserve Embedded profiles
- Save the preset as Sawgrass and click OK to close the Color settings window
- In the menu bar, click File > New.
- In the New Document window that opens, confirm that your Color Mode is RGB and Color Profile is Adobe RGB (1998). We also recommend working with a Resolution of 300 Pixels/Inch. Once done, click Create.
- When opening or importing images in Photoshop, you may encounter a Missing Profile or Embedded Profile Mismatch warning.
- For the Missing Profile, select the radio button for Assign current working space: sRGB Adobe RGB (1998) and click OK to continue.
- For the Embedded Profile Mismatch instance, select Convert document’s colors to the working space and click OK to continue.
- For the Missing Profile, select the radio button for Assign current working space: sRGB Adobe RGB (1998) and click OK to continue.

Always choose to Assign or Convert to the working space, sRGB IEC61966-2.1
Every time an image is opened or imported in Photoshop, ensure that RGB color mode has been selected. In the menu bar, click Image > Mode > RGB Color. A check mark should now be visible beside RGB Color.
Photoshop Print Setup
With the correct color settings entered, you are now ready to print. There are two ways you can print from here.

- Quick Export as PNG
- Print Plugin
Quick Export as PNG
- In the Menu Bar, click File > Export, then Quick Export as PNG.
You can use Export As... for more control over the exporting options.

Save the File in the Sawgrass Smart Folder, this is located on the desktop by default.
- The Print Manager Print Settings window will now open.
Print Plugin
- In the Menu Bar, click File > Print
- Select Print Settings...
- At the bottom of the Print Settings, click the PDF drop-down and select Sawgrass Print Manager from the list.
- The Print Manager Print Settings window will now open.
