How-To: Installing Sawgrass Print Manager (MacOS)

We know by now that you are eager to start creating. That’s why we made the start up and installation of the Sawgrass Print Manager super easy.

Let's jump in and get your sublimation journey started!

• Download and Install the Print Manager

  Follow the steps below to help guide to the beginning steps to download Sawgrass Print Manager for MacOS:
  

  1. To jump straight to the software download, click the following link:
     
     
     
  2. The web browser will start downloading the Sawgrass Print Manager installer
     Depending on your web browser preference, follow any instruction your web browser asks about the download.
     
     
  3. Go to the downloads folder (Go > Downloads)
     
     
  4. Now, click on the download file named SPM_MacOS…etc.
     
     
     • Please follow this article if you receive an Apple malicious software warning message
       
       
  5. Click Continue to start the Installation
     
     
     
  6. Click Install
     
     
  7. The Print Manager will now install the necessary files on your Mac, Once completed successfully Click Close.
     
     
     
     

  This will complete the first portion of the installation! Now, lets move to Step 2 to install the Printer driver. If both are not completed, you will not be able to print!
  
  

• Step 2: Installing the Printer Driver

  1. Once the Print Manager has been installed, it will automatically start and prompt you to Select your Printer Model and Ink Type. This will depend on the inks that you purchased with your printer. Once chosen, hit Next.
     
     
     
  2. Click Install, and Next once it becomes Pink.
     
     
  3. Select your Connection Method. This is how you will you want your printer to be connected to your Mac. Once chosen, hit Next.
     
     
     
  4. If you chose USB, you will be prompted to insert the USB cable and power on the printer.
     • Once, the USB cable has been connected, jump to step 7.
     • For Wifi, you will need to connect your printer to your wireless Network.
     • For Ethernet, you will need to connect your LAN cable from your Router to the printer.
       
       
  5. Once your printer has been connected, click Add Printer
     
     
     
  6. This will open your Printers & Scanners, Click the + to add the driver to your Mac printer list.
     
     
     
     
  7. Once added, the printer installation is now complete and the following screen should appear, click Finish to close the window.
     
     
     
  8. The Print manager will restart and you should see the PM icon in your top task bar, as shown below. Clicking on this PM icon will display the Print Manager menu.
