How to prepare your printer for inclimate weather events

We tell you to keep your printer turned on at all times.  How does that work when a hurricane or tornado is headed your way?

If you are evacuating and feel the power may go out, unplug your printer, and move it to a safe area away from windows.  Once the storm has passed, plug your printer back in and turn it back on as soon as possible.  Then, perform two head cleans.

This would be the same instructions you would follow if you felt your power will go out for any reason.  If you have an unexpected power outage, remember to turn your printer back on as soon as power returns and do one or two head cleans.
