In this guide, we will provide an overview of the types of paper you can use based on the specific product you want to decorate.
When using sublimation, the transfer process is only effective if your product has a polymer coating or, in the case of textiles, contains polyester. Since sublimation works with these materials, you can confidently use TruePix Classic sublimation paper for optimal results.
However, for products that are not designed for sublimation and do not have a polymer coating, an alternative solution is required. In such cases, our VeriFlex system offers the ideal method for successfully decorating your item.
When selecting the correct paper in SPU, keep in mind that choosing the Product Type will also automatically adjust the paper type.
In this example we have selected the Product Metal, and the Print Utility has automatically chose TruePix Classic as the Media Type. | In this example we have selected the Product Uncoated Wood, and the Print Utility has automatically chose VersiFlex Light as the Media Type. |
If your exact product isn’t listed—such as when using a fabric blend or a material other than cotton—simply select the closest match.
