Removing the Printer Driver
If you are installing a replacement printer, it is recommended to first remove the previously installed driver in order to avoid any conflict or simply from creating multiple copies.
MacOS
- Click the Apple logo > System Preferences
- Select Printers & Scanners and the printer you wish to remove
- Select the [-] button to remove the printer
Windows
- Settings > Printers & Scanners
- Select the printer you wish to remove
- Select Remove Device
Installing the Printer Driver
- Open Sawgrass Printer Utility.
- Click Settings
- Select Devices and then click +Add.
- Check "I have disconnected my printer" and click Continue
- Select the printer model you wish to install
- The installation process will now commence

- Click the Apple logo > System Preferences
- Select Printers & Scanners
- Select the [+] button to add the printer
- Select the printer you wish to add

Renaming a Printer (Optional)
- You change the name of the printer in Printers and Scanners. Example names: SG1000 Sublijet or SG800 EasySubli.
- On MacOS, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Printers & Scanners. Select the printer in the list at the left. Click Options & Supplies, then click General. Type the new name.
- On Windows, choose Printers & Scanners > Select your printer> Manage>Printer Properties. On the General tab, rename your printer.
- Once the printer has been renamed, restart your computer so the changes can take effect.
- After restart, you will see the printer has been updated with the new name.
