Before proceeding, ensure the correct Sawgrass printer driver and Sawgrass Print Utility
have been installed.
The following instructions explain how to configure CorelDRAW for use with Sawgrass Print Utility
on a computer using Windows OS. Your screens and menus may differ depending on the version of software and operating system being used, but your settings will be identical.
CorelDRAW Color Setup
- Open a new document in CorelDRAW by clicking File then click New.
- In the Create a New Document window, match your settings to those shown below.
- Primary color mode: RGB
- Rendering resolution: 300dpi
- Click the down arrow to show Advanced Settings
- RGB profile: sRGB IEC61966-2.1
- CMYK profile: U.S. Web Coated (SWOP) v2
- Grayscale profile: Dot Gain 20%
- Rendering intent: Perceptual
- In the menu bar, click Tools > Color Management.
- The Document Color Management Settings should be as they were set on Step 2.
- In the Default Color Management Settings window, Set the Settings as below, then Save the preset as Sawgrass.
- RGB profile: sRGB IEC61966-2.1
- CMYK Profile: U.S Web Coated (SWOP) v2
- Grayscale Profile: Dot Gain 20%
- Primary Color Mode: RGB
- Rendering Intent: Perceptual
- Color Engine: None
Open Policy
- RGB: Assign default color profile
- CMYK: Assign default color profile
- Grayscale: Assign default color profile
Import and Paste policy
- RGB: Convert to document color profile
- CMYK: Assign document color profile
- Grayscale: Convert to document color profile

CorelDRAW Print Setup
- After opening or importing an image with the correct color settings entered, you are now ready to print. In the menu bar click File then Print.
- In the Print window, select Send to Sawgrass Print Utility in the Printer drop-down. Then, select CorelDRAW Defaults from the Print style drop-down.
- In the Print window, click the Color tab, and match your settings to those shown below.
- Color: Composite
- Color Conversion: Send to Sawgrass Print Utility
- Color profile: sRGB IEC61966-2.1
- Rendering intent: Perceptual
- All is now setup, you may go ahead and hit Print.
Note: You may also print by Exporting your image as a PDF (File > Export) and saving it as a PDF into the Quick Print Folder.
