Different Ways of Printing Using Sawgrass Print Utility

Once your printer and Sawgrass Print Utility are set up, there are several ways to create and send a print job.

This article explains the main printing options available, including creating a job directly in Sawgrass Print Utility, printing from supported design software, using a Quick Print Folder, and sending a design from MySawgrass.

Choose the method that best suits your workflow and the type of file you want to print.

 

Create Print Job in Sawgrass Print Utility

  1. Open Sawgrass Print Utility and click Create from the right side menu
  2. From there, either click Add File(s) or drag and drop the files you wish to print
  3. The Sawgrass Print Utility print settings will now be displayed as well as print preview 
  4. Click Print when ready

Tip:  Always double check that your file type is compatible with the options listed.

 

Printing From Your Graphic Software using Send to Sawgrass Print Utility

  1. Design or open your desired creation in your software such as Photoshop.

  2. Go to the print options for your program. (Usually File > Print)

  3. In the Print Settings/Options for the software you are using, you will need to make sure that Send to Sawgrass Print Utility is selected as your printer.

  4. Press print when ready and the image will open in Sawgrass Print Utility.
     

Quick Print Folder

  1. On your desktop you will see a Sawgrass Print Utility Quick Print Folder
  2. Copy and paste or drag and drop you PNG, JPG or PDF file into this folder. Previously printed files will also show in this folder, under Processed.
  3. Once Processed, Sawgrass Print Utility will now open.

Note that you can add or customize Folders from the Quick Print Folders option located in the Sawgrass Print Utility menu. 

 

MySawgrass design tool

  1. Choose your desired blank and create your product within MySawgrass.
  2. After designing, press the Print icon in the upper right-hand side of the screen.

     
  3. Select Print File


    Important: Ensure that Popups are not blocked, the file will be otherwise not be sent to Sawgrass Print Utility.

     
  4. Click Open Sawgrass Print Utility, we recommend also ticking to Always allow to open links of this type. Sawgrass Print Utility will then open automatically. If you do not have Sawgrass Print Utility installed, you will be prompted to download it.
