It has come to our attention that the Send to Sawgrass Print Utility virtual driver may sometimes not work as it should when printing on macOS. This is a known issue with Apple.
If you are a macOS user and your WiFi changes while the Sawgrass Print Utility is open, your print job might not go through when using Send to Sawgrass Print utility.
This can happen when changing networks, for example:
-
You move between rooms and your Mac switches WiFi networks (different access points).
-
You go from work to home or vice versa.
When the network changes, Send to Sawgrass Print Utility may lose its connection, even though everything still looks normal.
Fix: Quit and restart Sawgrass Print Utility or restart your Mac.
Should the issue persist and restarting Sawgrass Print Utility does not solve the issue, there is also an alternate way of printing using a Quick Print Folder to add jobs to the Sawgrass Print Utility. Please see the instructions below on how to do this from Photoshop.
Quick Export to PNG
- With your image open, click File, Export and then Quick Export as PNG
- Save the PNG file in the Quick Print Folder located on your Desktop.
- The Sawgrass Print Utility will now open.
If your image is already formatted the way you wish, you also have the possibility to copy your compatible file directly into the Quick Print Folder or open it in the Sawgrass Print Utility via the Create button.
