The Remove Color tool allows you to make specific colors within an image transparent, making it easy to remove unwanted backgrounds or isolate key elements of your artwork. This feature is particularly useful when working with logos, graphics, or images that contain solid background colors that you do not want included in your final design.
MySawgrass provides options to remove any selected color from an image or quickly remove all white areas, helping you prepare artwork for a cleaner and more professional result.
-
After adding an image to your design, you will be given the option to make color changes to it. One of these option also allows you to Remove Color which we will be covering here.
-
Select Remove Color, then Remove any Color. Note that if you only wish to remove White from the image, Select Remove All White.
-
Now click in the areas you want to remove color. In this example, we'll be removing the background color and rendering it transparent. Hit Done, once complete. Note that you will need to cancel and reset to start again.
- On the Design, you will now see areas where the color has been removed and are transparent.
